In 1990, HBE PRESS was founded
in South Korea. Since being established 25 years ago, our company has designed
and built more than 75 forging presses, 30 extrusion presses and 20 forging
manipulators and forging equipment, Isothermal forging presses, impact
extrusion presses, etc. throughout our production history.
Over time, we have amassed a
diverse range of experiences and technologies from numerous projects related to
forging and extrusion hydraulic presses. During this process, we have been able
to significantly evolve and gain a tremendous amount of experience with hydraulic
forging presses.
Our company features highly
skilled engineers and designers who are specialized in designing large open-die
forging presses. That enables us to successfully build large forging presses of
which will generate 18,500 tons of forging force in a push down design. Further
to this, we have also built and installed a 15,000-ton closed-die forging press.
Many global producers of
forged products are currently operating presses made by HBE PRESS, include Kobe
Steel, Seah Besteel, Sheffield Forge Masters, Frisa Forjadoras, Viraji, Carlton
Forge, and Patriot. Seah Besteel’s press rated at 15,000 tons is the largest in
the world for distance between column axis (8000mm. 315”) and the second
largest open-die forging press in the world with respect to tonnage rating.

We not only produce large-scale
open-die forging presses, but we also focus on smaller hydraulic presses and
customized presses for various means of production, while providing engineering
and solutions that meet all the needs and usage applications of our customers.
In terms of machine control
and hydraulic systems, our experience has been growing dramatically to the
point where we can confidently provide the very best and highest quality system
that is carefully tailored to accommodate the needs of our customers. A
significant amount of hydraulic systems have been successfully produced and
implemented by HBE PRESS in many projects through cooperation with Wepuko,
Rexroth, Oilgear, and Parker.
